Norimaki for beginner

Since it is Labor Day weekend, I didn't make any obento. So I pulled out something I did before. Those are Norimaki (rolls) I made for pre-school snack to introducing Japanese culture. Since audience is non-Japanese kids, I picked something easy to try. From front of the picture, egg roll and ketchup rice, Gobo and carrots soy sauce taste, cucumber, bumble bee egg, cucumber, hot dog, and again egg roll. Surprisingly, kids loved it, and tried all, even though things are not familiar to them. (I was so happy!) When you hear "sushi" people think of raw fish. But you can make sushi without raw fish, too. And that's a great finger food. It looks nice and make fun lunch for kids.
